There are antistatic sprays(likely requires dry time I dont know how u would get it in there and likely void your warranty I wouldnt try this I used to use this on my old CRT god monitor the 2304x1440p sony but this also was a temporary fix and the static kept coming back worse and worse. The problem is static not dirt and grime or overuse. You can breathe your nasty breath in there to create humidity and a temporary fix or you can blow some humid air in there via your method of choice, slower is better, this is likely cleaner but also temporary. Its static electricity that has built up in the actual switch 99% of the time. The natural early conclusion is that this is some kind of mechanical or corroded contact problem. I HAVE THE SOLUTION DOUBT IT AT YOUR OWN TIME WASTED!!!
